The UP Fair continued with advocacy-filled nights of not just music, but protest as well at this year’s week-long and advocacy-led UP Fair with the theme, “Awit mo’y Paglaya!” in their second and fourth nights advancing #AtinAngPinas and #EmpowerFilipinoVoteres with hosts Joselle Marie Fajardo and Albert Josef Lirio on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 and Louise Beron, Jonette Manalo on Thursday, November 11, 2021 through Facebook live.

The nights were graced by the smooth and entertaining song performances of singer-songwriters Missy Alleah and Jem, performing for the #AtinAngPinas advocacy booth, and by the powerful performances of music artist Karla Sings, Janmel, and the musical performing trio The Artin Jam for #EmpowerFilipinoVoters.

Johanna Gwen Jao was also present on Tuesday to share about her expression of the advocacy #AtinAngPinas in her artwork of the day.

To further advance #AtinAngPinas, Tuesday night was endowed by the presence of Bobby Roldan as a speaker from PAMALAKAYA, National Federation of Small Fisherfolk Organization in the Philippines, which is an alliance of activist fisherfolk groups in the country. They have 43 provincial chapters and more than 100,00 individual members.

Thursday night had activist and politician Sarah Elago and National President of the Kabataan Partylist Raoul Manuel as the advocacy speakers for #EmpowerFilipinoVoters. Elago and Manual represent and lead the Kabataan Partylist, advocating for the advancement of youth agenda among others where the youth is a huge factor in the upcoming 2022 elections.

UP Fair also continued calling for donations to their chosen beneficiaries Kariton ng Maralita Network, an alliance focused on fighting for and advancing the democratic rights of communities in Quezon City, and Tulong Isko under the Rise for Education — UP Diliman, a donation drive for select students to help them in the online learning setup.
